Friday, October 10th was Superhero Day at EC New York, in light of NYC Comic Con. Students wore shirts with their favorite superheros. Comic Con is a fan convention dedicated to anime, science-fiction, comics, superheroes, video games, and comics. In fact, throughout the streets of New York during Comic Con, it looks almost like Halloween! Comic Con has been a popular New York event since its first year in 2006. It starts in New York and travels west throughout the country. According to Austine, “it’s like a playground for adults! Everyone can be a child for a day.” Popular costumes are Spiderman, RD2D, Batman, and Wonderwoman. Look at our students, teachers, and staff members in their superhero shirts!
