Hi! My name is Ivanna, I’m from Venezuela and I’m 19 years old.
For starting, I came to New York City to learn English like all of us. I know that for many of us the first time in NYC maybe make us feel scared because it’s a BIG city and you don’t know what you are going to find. A reason why I decided NYC is because I think that here you don’t need to travel around the world to meet new cultures. In one week you probably meet new people from different parts in the world and different cultures, which is very interesting.
New York City is a wonderful place for you to be yourself, for example me, I’m dancer and in NYC I have a lot of opportunity to be an excellent dancer, not only with dance, but also music, comedy, construction, sports, money, etc. In NYC you can be everything but you need to feel like the best!.
Another thing about this wonderful city, is that every day is a different day where you can explore and enjoy whatever you want, like parks, movies, subway, famous places, museums, theater, food, clubs, etc.
