What is there to do this weekend?

After a short week of classes because of the holiday, there is even more fun to look forward to this weekend at SUNY Oswego!

There are many different events happening on and off campus this weekend. You should also try to get outside this weekend and enjoy the last few weekends of warm weather!

Almost all of the events that happen on campus are FREE for students! Be sure you are taking advantage of these!!

Art Exhibit: “New Works and Reinventions”

Open Skate

Where: Marano Campus Center Arena

What: Free ice skating for Oswego students – $3 to rent ice skates

 

Concert: Central Winds

When: 7:30pm-8:30pm

Where: Waterman Theatre, Tyler Hall

What: Fifty-piece ensemble – $5 for SUNY Oswego students

Saturday, September 10

Oswego Businesses Sale

When: 9:00am-5:00pm

Where: Port City Co-Op, Lake Ontario Antiques, Mother Earth Baby

What: HUGE Sales at these stores, along with chances to win prizes!

Oswego Pride Parade & Festival

Where: Breitbeck Park to West 1st Street

What: A Pride parade along with a festival including vendors, food, etc.

Planetarium Show: “The Autumn Constellations”

When: 7:00pm-8:00pm

Where: Room 223, Shineman Center

What: Professor to give brief summary of 6 constellations, and telescope viewing to follow
