This week’s American Slang Word is… “fishy”

American’s use a lot of different words as describing words, and this week’s word is one of those!


Word: Fishy (adjective)

Meaning: Suspicious 

Example: “There’s something fishy about the way he’s behaving.”





If someone is acting different, or as if they were hiding something from you, then you could say they’re acting fishy,
