Art Exhibit: “Restart”

When: 10:00am-4:00pm

Where: Tyler Hall

What: Artists from around the U.S. show recent work on the topic of “new beginnings and fresh starts” in celebration of the recent renovation of Tyler Hall and Tyler Art Gallery

 

Men’s Soccer vs. Buffalo State

When: 3:00m-5:00pm

Where: Laker Turf Stadium

What: Go cheer on the Oswego Men’s Soccer team!

Science Talk

When: 3:00pm-4:00pm

Where: Room 170, Shineman Center

What: Dr. Owen McDougal, a 1992 SUNY Oswego graduate and chair of the chemistry and biochemistry department at Boise State University, will speak

 

Movie: “The Throne (Sado)”

When: 6:00pm-8:00pm

Where: Room 133 Marano Campus Center

What: Based on a real historical event that took place in 18th century Korea

 

Women’s Field Hockey vs. Brockport

When: 6:00pm-8:00pm

Where: Laker Turf Stadium

What: Cheer on the Oswego Women’s Field Hockey Team!

Saturday, October 8th

Rice Creek Ramble

When: 11:00am-12:00pm

Where: Rice Creek Field Station

What: Family-friendly naturist-led walk

 

SEFA/United Way Walk-a-thon

When: Registration starts at 11:00am, walk begins at 12:00pm

Where: In front of Marano Campus Center

What: The walk is a 3.1 mile loop on campus

Sunday, October 9th

Planetarium Show: “Back to The Moon & On To Mars”

When: 7:00pm-8:00pm

Where: Room 223, Shineman Center

What: Dr. Roby reviews the Apollo Moon Program and previews NASA’s new 3-stage plan to take humans to Mars. Includes a full-dome video about the Google Lunar Xprize to land a privately funded robot on the moon. Telescope viewing to follow
