Student Art Exhibition

Art Exhibit: “Inspired by Data”

What: Exhibition by artist Carla Senecal, an adjunct professor in SUNY Oswego’s art department

 

Men’s Ice Hockey vs. Fredonia

Saturday, February 18th

Rice Creek Ramble

When: 11am-12pm

Where: Rice Creek Field Station

What: Family-friendly naturalist-led walk. Participants should dress for the weather and call 315-312-6677 on the morning of the hike to check trail conditions. Program size is limited, unable to accommodate groups.

Performance: “Vision of Sound: (Making) Place”

When: 3-4pm

Where: Waterman Theater, Tyler Hall

What: The Society for New Music presents music for dance, live electronics, and video by Stephen Ferre, Mark Olivieri, Sam Pellman, Gregory Wanamaker, and SUNY Oswego’s Paul Leary, collaborating with top upstate New York choreographers, performed by nationally and internationally renowned dancers and musicians across upstate.$10 (free for SUNY Oswego students with ID and children 12 & under)

 

Open Skate

When: 6-7:30pm

Where: Marano Ice Arena

What: $1 for students, $3 for skate rental

 

Planetarium Show: “The Calendar”

When: 7-8pm

Where: Room 223, Shineman Center

What: John Zielinski of SUNY Oswego’s physics department will examine the details of the development of the modern solar calendar and the Gregorian calendar. The solar-lunar calendars and pure lunar calendars will also be discussed. Telescope viewing to follow, weather permitting. Limited seating: first-come, first served.
