Friday, February 24th

Art Exhibit: “Inspired by Data”

When: 12pm-5pm

Where: Oswego State Downtown, 186 W. 1st Street

What: Exhibition by artist Carla Senecal, an adjunct professor in SUNY Oswego’s art department. The exhibit will be on display to March 17

 

Men’s Basketball SUNYAC Semifinal – Brockport vs. Oneonta

When: 5:30-7:30pm

Where: Max Ziel Gymnasium

Saturday, February 25th

Making Kindness

When: 12pm-6pm

Where: Library classroom 2

WhatMaking Kindness is a community service-based event where we will make things to donate to local organizations. Some examples are cat toys for the shelter, crocheted/knit hats for cancer patients, cards for seniors, and 3D printed assistive devices for people with disabilities or limited abilities.

Sunday, February 26th

Open Skate

When: 6-7:30pm

Where: Marano Arena

What: $3 ($1 for SUNY Oswego students, faculty and staff with ID). $3 for skate rental.

 

Planetarium Show: “The Calendar”

When: 7-8pm

Where: Room 223, Shineman Center

What: John Zielinski of SUNY Oswego’s physics department will examine the details of the development of the modern solar calendar and the Gregorian calendar. The solar-lunar calendars and pure lunar calendars will also be discussed. Telescope viewing to follow, weather permitting. Limited seating: first-come, first-served. Children 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Free.

 

EC offers various English courses, including English for Academic Purposes (EAP).
