Micael is a Portuguese student who is currently living in Switzerland, and he took General English courses at EC San Francisco for eight weeks. He stayed at the Monastery, EC SF’s student residence, and everyone appreciated Micael’s friendly and positive attitude. We are sad to see him go!
Before he left to return home, however, we asked him to share a few thoughts about what it is like to learn English for academic purposes in San Francisco, and here is what he had to say:
Why did you choose to study at EC San Francisco?
I chose EC because many people told me: “It is a very good place to study and San Francisco is very cool.”
What was your favorite thing about EC San Francisco?
EC SF has a good team of teacher that helped me improve my English.
What is your favorite memory of San Francisco?
I rode a bicycle across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito (a small town on the other side of the San Francisco Bay). I also have many other memories.
[Read more about the bicycle ride across the Golden Gate Bridge that Micael and other EC SF students took here. It is a very popular student activity at EC SF lead by Teacher Drew!]
What advice would you give to a new student learning English at EC SF?
Take the time to learn, and don’t forgot to enjoy the many activities from EC!
It was so good getting a chance to meet you, Micael, and best of luck to you as you continue to study English in the future!
