Meet new Student Ambassdor Sena!

  Rounding out the group of awesome new Student Ambassadors is the fabulous Sena Kansiz from Turkey. Sena will be with us for several months and she also lives at The Monastery Residence so many students will have the pleasure of knowing and participating in many activities with her. Here are some words from Sena: “Hey! I’m Sena from Turkey! I’m 22 and I’m graduated from Kadir Has University-Istanbul . My major was cinema and television. And during my university education I’ve worked in a TV channel for 3 years which produced The Voice of Turkey,Turkey’s got talent, Survivor and Rising Star Turkey. Before my TV experience I’ve worked for Istanbul Modern Art Museum. I do snowboarding for 7 years and I love horse riding. I like to travel and explore new places. I took photo lessons and I can take a picture of everything I see:) i’m addicted to listening to music and I’m sure that we get along well!”

Meet new Student Ambassador Cristóbal!

  Another new Student Ambassador at EC San Francisco this month is Cristóbal Mardones from Chile. He is actually in San Francisco studying at EC with his brother, sister and also his father.  Prior to the arrival of his brother and father, Cristóbal and his sister both stayed at The Monastery Residence where they both often visit and do activities with other EC students.  Here are some words from Cristóbal: “Hey my name is Cristóbal and I am from Chile. I like any kind of journey, travel or trip in San Francisco and also I am informed of many events and great places to go in this amazing city. If you have any doubt or you need any company, come to me!!!”

Meet new Student Ambassador Mohammed!

  Another new Student Ambassador is Mohammed Alemam from Saudi Arabia. Mohammed is part of a special group of students here since last summer. Mohammed is here long term, so it only makes sense for him to be an ambassador.  Since his arrival, he is always socializing and befriending many students. Although he lives with a host family, Mohammed spends a lot of quality time with students at The Monastery Residence, making them feel welcomed and an important part of our EC Family.   Here are some words from Mohammed: “Hi, My name is Mohammed from Saudi Arabia. I have been here since July. This place is awesome, you guys should enjoy every single moment in San Francisco.If you have any questions feel free to ask me. I’m looking forward to seeing you!”  

Meet new Student Ambassador Julien!

  Another new Student Ambassador is Julien Hégé from France. Julien is also part of a special group of students here from Strasbourg, France who are required to study abroad as part of their business program at the EM Strasbourg Business School. Julien is staying with his group in a downtown residence; however, you might spot him sporadically hanging out at The Monastery Residence playing UNO with fellow students. Here are some words from Julien: “Hi, my name is Julien and I’m a French student! I’ll stay at EC San Francisco for 10 weeks in total. My passion is music (I sing & play the ukulele and a little bit of piano). I love coffee, meeting people, and of course FOOD! I also enjoy travelling and discovering new places. I’d be glad to help you settle here in San Francisco, and answer any question you might have about the school, the city, and more!”

Meet new Student Ambassador Pierre!

  This month EC San Francisco is lucky enough to have 5 new Student Ambassadors. One of these is Pierre Çakmur from France. Pierre is part of a special group of students here from Strasbourg, France who are required to study abroad as part of their business program at the EM Strasbourg Business School.  Pierre initially had private accommodation but will move to The Monastery Residence, so students will not only be able to socialize and participate in activities he leads for EC, they will also be able to practice English with him after hours.  Here are some words from Pierre: “Hi everybody! I’m Pierre, a student from France. I’ll be studying here in EC until the 24th of March. If you have any question or concern about anything, I’ll be glad to help you. I love walking in San Francisco, so if you want to visit the city, come see me, I can show you some really beautiful places! I hope you’ll enjoy your time here as much as I do, and I’m looking forward to meeting you all!”
