Mari

Mari from Japan: “You will like San Francisco for sure!”

Mari, a student from Japan, has been with us at EC San Francisco for 10 months. She was taking an Intensive course at EC San Francisco and finally graduated EC San Francisco. In addition to this, she was one of the student ambassadors and organized lots of activities for all students at EC San Francisco. She was supposed to move to other cities, but she decided not to do it. She has stayed in San Francisco to study English with her wonderful friends until the end of her study at EC San Francisco. Here are some comments from Mari: EC is the best school I’ve ever been to! The staff is kind and friendly and the teachers helped me a lot and it’s pretty easy to understand what they teach. In addition, the students who are from different countries are great!! You can make many friends, who are from different cultures. I really enjoyed every time in SF because of the guys and EC! I felt cozy when I was in San Francisco. I really love the atmosphere, the food, San Francisco and, etc. I bet you won’t regret studying English at EC San Francisco. EC has plenty of different activities, which are organized by student ambassadors. I used to be a student ambassador so I organized many activities which made the students enjoy their after school life. If you want to make unique activities, you should be a student ambassador. In the end, I highly recommend going and studying in EC. If I can, I really want to go back to San Francisco! I could create many memories which I will never forget.   Are you interested in studying in San Francisco? Check out our Business English Courses in San Francisco!

Stanford-University-no1

Explore Stanford University

California has lots of famous and good universities and colleges. One of them is Stanford University. You can get there by Caltrain from San Francisco downtown and it takes less than two hours. The campus is huge and very beautiful. I recommend you to go up to the Hoover Tower and to look around the campus at the top of the tower. In addition, don’t miss the famous bookstore for your souvenir. You can find a lot of Stanford University logo items. If you go there when school is in session, you might want to join some classes and attend some events. Search on the university website and attend a class!     I went to the memorial church on campus to watch the Christmas concert last month. The church has a big pipe organ. The pipe organ concert happens once a month. The church also has beautiful murals inside. I’m sure that you will like them. Are you interested in studying in San Francisco? Coin-Op-no1

A Cool Bar Coin-Op

Since I moved to San Francisco, I have visited many cool and fun places to eat and drink with my friends. I want to introduce one of the coolest bars in San Francisco to you. The bar’s name is Coin-Op, and it has lots of classic arcade games and pinball machines. You can play all of the games for 25 or 50 cents! You can also enjoy California craft beers as well. If you go there on the weekdays from 4pm to 7pm or all night Mondays, there is a happy hour event to drink any alcohol cheaper as usual. In addition, if you go there on the last Sunday of the month, you can play all of the games for free!      We went there with the center of director, Ryan, last week! He really likes to hang out with students. We played the games together like children with cheaper beer during happy hour? We can learn a lot from doing activities outside of school. Let’s join our EC San Francisco activities!!! Are you interested in studying in San Francisco? Check out our Business English Courses in San Francisco!
