St. Patrick's Day Celebration – March 17

Sharing is caring!

St. Patrick’s Day is a cultural and religious holiday to celebrate the arrival of Christianity in Ireland. St. Patrick died on March 17 and that’s why March 17 has been designated to celebrate St. Patrick in Ireland since he brought Christianity to the country.

What has started as a Catholic Holiday to celebrate Christianity entering Ireland, is now a worldwide festival celebrated in many countries around the world.

Check out these events that will be taking place in Toronto this weekend to celebrate  St. Patrick’s Day:

-Toronto St. Patrick’s Day Club Crawl 2012

-St. Patricks Day at Time

-Cake Bar & Nightclub
