Hot Docs is an organization dedicated to celebrating and promoting the art of documentary, and to showcase the work of and create opportunities for filmmakers.
Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival is North America’s largest documentary festival, and this year is presenting more than 200 innovative documentaries from Canada and around the world.
You will find films by different subjects, such as:
- Culture & Creativity: stories about artists, music, writers, and more.
- Stories From Around the World: stories from countries all across the globe.
- People & Perspectives: eye-opening stories about family, love, culture, and more.
- Ideas & Issues: stories about activism, rights, health, and more.
Screenings are located at different theaters, and tickets are either free for students or $17 to $24.
