Toronto has one of the most easily explained subway systems in the world; and for all of us this is really convenient, especially when you want to go from one place to another in a matter of minutes without getting lost.
In a nutshell, the TTC has two primary subway lines: the Bloor-Danforth line (aka the green line) runs west-east, and the Yonge-University-Spadina line (aka the yellow line) runs north-south in a U shape.
Despite this is important to know, what we want to talk about is another matter: The TTC redesigned the subway map.
Downsview changed its name (now is Sheppard West), and 6 new subway stations were added to the map, which are going to open this December. Also, public washrooms and parking lots are going to be recognized by us.
The new maps have already been rolled out on many Line 2 trains, and they should be installed throughout the subway system by May 7.
