If you’re an animal worshiper and looking for something to do with your family you might love it. Now in the summer is the best time to visit Toronto’s zoo. You`ll can see more than 5,000 animals representing over 450 species. The Zoo is divided into seven zoogeographic regions: Indo-Malaya, Africa, the Americas, Australasia, Eurasia, Canadian Domain and the Tundra Trek. Animals are displayed indoors in tropical pavilions and outdoors in naturalistic environments, with viewing at many levels.
Between May 6 to September 4 Toronto Zoo is open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
For the children, they have the Kids Zone where the family can meet and interact with domestic animals like alpacas, goats, rabbits, woodchucks, and ferrets.
Between July 1 to September 4, 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily the Splash Island is open. It’s very good for the kids to enjoy the cool mist as they explore and learn about which plants and animals live in different bodies of water in Canada while the parents can relax, cool down and enjoy the summer.
