From June 15th through June 17th will be held the 24th Annual Rio Tinto Alcan Dragon Boat Festival, on the waters of False Creek. Dragon boating originated in China over 2000 years ago. The Festival is one of the biggest and most popular Summer events in Vancouver.
The dragon boat races start at False Creek and end at Science World, where there will be lots of entertainment, such as free concerts, visual arts and activities from local community groups. Don’t miss it!
