The 4th annual event is back in Vancouver. This festival, which believes “Chocolate makes you happy”, starts on January 17th and runs until February 14th. In this festival, over 20 chocolate makers and cafes will participate and they will provide more than 60 crazy flavours such as cheesy, spicy, minty, even salted kettle chips in it.
What’s more, several vendors will offer healthier ones with coconut, soy or almond milk, and 100% vegan ingredients to fit your preference. You should try the specials which are sold only for this event as much as possible for a month, and then, eventually, you will find your favourite cup of hot chocolate.
In addition, the festival is not only about hot chocolate, it is also raising funds for a local charity. Last year’s sales of the festival went toward the PHS Community Service Society that provides training and employment to female residents of Downtown Eastside.
