Hello EC Students!
Would you like to see giant sized sculptures made entirely out of canned food? Now, you can!
The Canstruction Vancouver is a competition that happens every year when teams of architects, engineers, designers and schools get together to construct giant sized sculptures made entirely out of canned food. When the competition ends and the winners are declared, the sculptures go on view to the general public as giant art exhibits for free to the public. This year’s theme is “Fact or Fiction”.
And, what’s more! At the end of the event all the food used to make the sculptures is donated to our Greater Vancouver Food Banks for distribution to community emergency feeding programs. How cool is that?
You can check out this amazing event from Friday, April 24, 2015 to Friday, May 08, 2015 (Recurring daily) at various locations such as Four Seasons Hotel and the Rotunda at Pacific Center.
Visit the Canstruction Vancouver official website to get more information about the event.
