A local’s guide to Vancouver’s popular coffee shops

Sharing is caring!

Coffee Coffee Coffee! Coffee has always been a growing industry in Vancouver. British Columbia has many amazing local coffee shops and pastries that are made from scratch.

Nemesis coffee in Downtown Vancouver is one spot where you can try a lot of different brewing methods and enjoy them with one of their great boutique foods. Another Downtown favorite is Revolver which is in Gastown. Head down to their shop in the mornings to enjoy the silkiest espresso you’ll ever have with their buttery croissants.

If you are in the mood for some of the best donuts in town, head to Parallel 49th & Lucky’s Donuts. They sell great in-house roasted coffee and donuts that are always fresh and tasty!

However, even though Downtown Vancouver hosts many coffee shops, one of the best French Cafés in town is in Burnaby. La Foret is just steps away from Royal Oak SkyTrain station. The garage-turned bakery offers great drinks, food and snacks in a unique aesthetic.

Studying English courses in Vancouver is an excellent way to explore Canadian culture. Learning more about the environment you live in will make you more attuned to your surroundings and help expand your vocabulary.
