English School

St Martin's College

The school provides a safe and comfortable environment which is highly conducive to English language learning.

St Martin's has a dedicated academic co-ordinator, and is fully air-conditioned, which is ideal during the hot summer months.

During peak times we also use EC Malta school and classrooms at Chiswick House, all with the same great facilities and supervision. During the first two weeks of this programme, lessons will be held at STC Higher Education, Pembroke.

English Course

General English – 20 lessons (15 hours) per week. The course will help improve English language skills by focusing on the key areas: speaking, listening, reading and writing. A strong focus is placed on speech and using the language confidently and fluently.

Lessons are engaging and designed especially for young learners. Teachers aim to satisfy any interest, with a focus on communication to boost students' confidence when using English in practical situations. Regular tests and conversation classes help to ensure that students improve their English as much as possible.

Our dedicated and professional teaching staff provide feedback and support and help students build confidence to speak English.

For added security and assistance, live-in EC supervisors will stay at the hotel.

Dietary Requirements
If students have specific diet requirements (e.g. Gluten free / vegetarian / Halal), EC must be informed of this prior to the student's arrival.

Temperatures in Malta during summer are quite high and students therefore, need to drink plenty of water. Whilst water is provided during meals, students will be expected to buy bottled water at other times, during activities and school. It is important to take this into account when evaluating the amount of pocket money needed.
