Learning English at EC San Diego

Our goal at EC San Diego is to ensure that you leave us with an improved level of English and we will do all that we can to make sure that it happens. In fact, we guarantee that if you fully participate in lessons, your English level will improve.

We know that you have a goal and a special reason to learn English. Accordingly, our English language courses are created with people like you in mind. We have classes to suit every level of English ability and specific courses for Business English and Exam Preparation (we are one of the few schools in America to teach Cambridge ESOL).

If you want to learn English with classmates or individually, we have an English course for you.

Our teachers will build your confidence, encouraging you to speak as much as possible, correcting your mistakes to help you improve.

Our classrooms are secure places where lessons are interactive, challenging and fun. You will be shown how to develop the level of English you had when you arrived and how to access it immediately and effectively. At our English language school you not only practise your speaking skills, but also your listening, reading and writing, so your English ability will improve as a whole. To create a more natural environment for you to practise in, you will learn English from more than one teacher, giving you the chance to interact with different native speakers.

Outside of the classroom we will provide you with the opportunity to mix and practise your English naturally with fellow students and in the local community with our social programmes and on excursions.
