What's Cookin'?

Thu, 01/05/2008 - 14:21

What a first day. I arrived bright and early, ready for anything. I saw the madness of the teachers' room at 8:45. I learnt everybody's names, then I forgot them again. Then I met the students, then the reception team, then the people in the cafe. In the morning I had been nervous, by lunchtime I was running around like a madman, at the end of the day I was exhausted. I felt like I'd been there for a month, and yet the day had passed so quickly I couldn't remember if I'd eaten anything!

Farewell from EC London student Yoshi

Mon, 21/04/2008 - 14:03

Yoshi with classmates

This e-mail is a goodbye mail for you, wonderful teachers and other EC students. My profound thanks to you for standing by me in order to improve my English ability.

First of all, EC London is the most wonderful English language school in London as far as I know.

I had been improving English at EC London for 6months.

My English Level was pre-intermediate when I took an exam of EC to check my English on the first day.

However, my English ability was dramatically improving. It was Advanced Level before I went back to Japan.

Polly then took the short walk to Trafalgar Square, before walking past Downing Street and up towards Big Ben. After all that walking, Polly sat in the beautiful Embankment Gardens before walking to Embankment. Polly decided to take the Thames Clipper boat home to Woolwich Arsenal.
