EC San Diego - English and Surfing

Tue, 27/10/2009 - 15:03

Learn English and surf

Surfing. Is there a cooler activity than surfing? No - no way. Even the word is cool. How envious will all your friends be when you tell them you learned to surf when you were in San Diego? You'll even have a surf certificate to prove it.

You can now combine your English language course with surfing lessons. Take lessons over 1, 2 or 3 weeks - that's ten hours of instruction per week (2 hour session per day - 5 days a week). The good news is that the lessons are for English students of every level.

False Start for EC London Premiership ticket giveaway !

Mon, 12/01/2009 - 09:04

Unfortunately the football match between Fulham and Blackburn was cancelled only one hour before kick-off due to a frozen pitch! The match will be replayed one evening so the lucky winners of our tickets will get a chance to see the match. Fulham's football ground is located right next to the river Thames. This is a particularly cold place at the moment in London, with regular temperatures below zero!

Christmas tree decoration

Tue, 09/12/2008 - 13:24

Hi,

On the 5th of December 2008 we were celebrating our Christmas tree decoration in our EC cafeteria.

This year over 35 students plus members of staff and a few teachers helped to decorate our Nordman Fir in the cafeteria whilst we were sipping mulled wine (in one of the pics you see Ana serving it in the kitchen). We also had lots of chocolates, Christmas biscuits, minced pies and Pandoro cake.
