Meet our English Teachers

Wed, 14/10/2009 - 10:01

On your English language course with EC, you can expect to meet other students from around the world, but let's not forget those hard working teachers, who have the very important task of teaching you English. You can now get an early introduction to the fine teaching staff at EC London, Cape Town and Boston. Teachers at these schools have written a little about themselves, explaining what they enjoy about teaching and what makes EC such a great place to be. And just for you, they've come up with some useful advice on how to learn English.

This e-mail is a goodbye mail for you, wonderful teachers and other EC students. My profound thanks to you for standing by me in order to improve my English ability.

First of all, EC London is the most wonderful English language school in London as far as I know.

I had been improving English at EC London for 6months.

My English Level was pre-intermediate when I took an exam of EC to check my English on the first day.

However, my English ability was dramatically improving. It was Advanced Level before I went back to Japan.

I have been at EC Malta for two weeks. I would definitely recommend the school to my friends as EFL teaching here is great and people are outgoing. I like everything about Malta: the sea, the warm weather and the friendly people. The school is located in a great place, two minute walk to Paceville with all its attractions and a five minute walk to the sea. There is nothing to improve about the school, maybe more outdoor activities with the teacher during class time. I have not been to all the places where students can have fun, but so far Fuego is the best.

We were here in 2007 for 3 weeks at EC Malta. The school is very efficient and we have a good improvement in our English skills. We decided to come back in 2008 for another stay. The friendly and polite teachers and staff have given us always a helping hand or good advice. You can hang out in a lot of restaurants or bars around the school. You can have a nice walk along the shore line as well. There is also the possibility to discover a lot of heritage sites of all centuries. On a Sunday afternoon it is nice to have a walk through Valletta and visit one of the cafes.

I chose Cambridge because I think it's an ideal city to learn English. Cambridge is well known because of the Cambridge University.
