Last Saturday we had a great day in Cambridge at the Academic Conference! Well done Sam Buchan, Frits Holst and Steve Bliss from London!!!

We’re going to Guanabara on Friday for dinner. If you want to go with me you will need to come to reception and pay a deposit so I can book a nice table for us!!!! Last day to book your place is tomorrow!!!! I’ll be in reception tomorrow after 13.00!!! Lilian

Over the next few weeks we will try and introduce some weekend trips within London that are FREE to students and this weekend sees Giorgia lead a trip to the British Museum – within walking distance of the school. Meet outside the school at 11.00am on Sunday for this one….

On Sunday night (29th) there will be major celebrations around Trafalgar Square, Shaftesbury Avenue and, of course, Chinatown as we enter the Year of the Dragon! It will be busy but undoubtedly a lot of fun so head down if you can and make the most of the festivities. Charles Dickens is still a massive contempoary influence throughout the world.

In order to mark his birthday, there will be events held around the world!
