What other job do you get to meet people from all over the world, live in your favorite city, have fun and do something useful? I couldn’t be happier than I am teaching English. In particular, I have strong feelings for EC Boston because working here means being part of a community.
Teaching is a team effort, so several teachers work together to monitor each student’s progress and look out for their interests. The teachers care about each other, we really care about their students, and this creates a dynamic where the students care about us too. It’s a safe and special environment to take a leap into a new language and a new culture.
As a teacher, it is my privilege to get to know the individuals who come to Boston from all over the world and from all walks of life. I love watching students improve, and helping them navigate the learning process.
Boston is a small, beautiful city, filled with famous Universities, constantly changing weather and smart, friendly people. It is the perfect setting for learning, exploring and making your new, or temporary, home.
