Airport Transfers

Airport transfers can be arranged by EC if requested. Arrival information must be sent to EC as soon as possible. Please indicate clearly your arrival airport terminal, time of arrival and flight number.

You will be met at the arrival gate by an EC representative with an EC Brighton sign showing your name. If you do not see the EC representative, please go to the Airport Information desk and call our emergency number which you will find in your booking information.

If you are making your own travel arrangements to Brighton, we will ensure you have full details of your homestay, residence or hotel address. When staying in a homestay or residence, it is important to tell us what time you expect to arrive. This is to ensure that your host family is at home ready to welcome you after 6pm.

Your First Day at EC Brighton

How to get to school

Arrival letters are sent to all students at their accommodation address once their accommodation is confirmed. The letter includes detailed information regarding directions. Our Google map shows where EC Brighton is located within the city centre.

Placement Tests

At school you will sit a placement test and attend a Welcome Talk which will provide information to help you during your stay. After your first break you will be given your timetable and start your classes on day 1.

Students who wish to sit exam courses or some specialist courses may be required to take a pre-test and complete a needs analysis before they arrive. You will be given information about this when you book.

Your First Day

At school you will receive a Welcome Talk. During this talk you will be introduced to the school, its facilities and our friendly members of staff. After the welcome talk, you will be met by one of your teachers who will show you to your classroom. On Mondays the first modules start at 11:00.
