Fourth of July!

Sharing is caring!

The 4th of July, also known as Independence Day,  is coming up this Sunday.  It is a commemoration of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.  This date marked the independence of the United States from Great Britain, and is therefore a very important holiday in the United States and a day that is celebrated across the country!

Boston has one of the biggest and most famous 4th of July celebrations in the country.  It is a very exciting time to be in the city, so start planning your celebrations now!

At the Hatch Shell along the Charles River, the Boston Pops Orchestra holds the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular.

The concert begins at 8:30 p.m and the fireworks begin at 10:30.   Be sure to get there early if you want a spot on the lawn to see the amazing fireworks display!

Even if you don’t plan on catching the concert or fireworks, be sure to celebrate this unique and fun American holiday with your friends!
