What happens to our students once they’ve left our doors for the last time and fly off into the horizon? Many of our students have gone on to do some pretty interesting things with their lives, and studying English as well as the overall experience of living in a foreign country, has a great deal to do with their success.

Hello! My name is Mirella Bolognesi, I have 28 years old and I am from São Paulo, Brazil. I got to say that I have spent the most amazing time on EC Cape Town in June 2013 at Advanced and Business class.
I’m in Public Relations and my bullet point when I decided to go to South Africa was that I had a very small time (30 days only) and I really needed to improve my English as well as get to know a different country, some of the things that I try to do each and every year, especially on vacation. When I arrived in South Africa, instantly I’ve met a few great people at the airport and since I’m a very communicative person we became friends at that point. Certainly that day made me feel more confident and secure about my choice.
Definitely, my best memory from EC Cape Town are all the people that I’ve met, teachers and colleagues. I will never forget the opportunity to be in an environment with mixed cultures (Brazil, Angola, Africa, Libya, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Colombia, Turkey…), it feels boundless to live in a place like that and I really loved, because I’m also from an interbred country.
This coexistence, undoubtedly, made me a more complete professional to the market and to the globalized world. I’m a banker at a big company here in Brazil and for me, speaking English is essential if you want to have a promising career. In conclusion, an exchange is a once in a life time experience, so you must enjoy every single moment to learn. Talking and changing knowledge with your teachers and friends can provide you with a very rich vocabulary and courage to be yourself in another language!
