Ayano is from Japan and studied in EC New York’s Intensive English program for four weeks. During the last month, she improved her English by an astounding 40%. That’s a 10% improvement each week that she studied at EC! Ayano graduates from EC New York tomorrow, but before she leaves, she wanted to give some feedback to other students.
“I think trying to ask the teacher about our question in English is a good way to improve our English. When we study English in our country, we can use our first language to explain feelings to teacher. But, here we can’t. At EC, I liked taking activities, like writing class and conversation class. I could learn not only grammar but also native expressions which I needed in various situations. Also, discussions during my class gave me a lot of opportunities to try to speak English. I liked my class!”
