There will be fireworks!:
Watching fireworks is a great way to celebrate the Victoria Day long weekend. There will be a fireworks show at Canada’s Wonderland starting at 10pm on Sunday and one at Ashbridges Bay Park on Monday at 9:45pm. Both of these spots tend to get really crowded during long weekend fireworks displays, so be sure to get there early to get a good seat.
What’s Open/Closed?:
The TTC will run on a holiday schedule. Be sure to check out the TTC Website https://www.ttc.ca/Routes/General_Information/Service_Details.jsp for more information on TTC service on Monday May 23rd.
Go Transit will run on a Saturday schedule.
Most tourist attractions will be open (i.e., ROM, CN Tower, Casa Loma, Toronto Zoo, Ontario Science Centre).
Most malls and restaurants will be open as well.
LCBO stores are closed on Monday, but may stay open later on Friday and Saturday.
Libraries will be closed on Sunday and Monday.
