Summer Music Festivals

Sharing is caring!

The summer is here (even if the English weather makes us forget it sometimes) and England, like many countries, takes a good time to organize music festivals. Some of them like the famous Glastonbury Festival were in June but August and September offer interesting leisure options.

Reading and Leeds Festival (24th to 26th of August): this is one of the best summer event, based in two different cities, which will be attended headlining bands as well known as Foo Fighters, The Cure or Kasabian. Six stages, more than 200 artists and 3 days of party…what are you waiting for?

If you don’t want to go far away from Brighton, then you can attend the Gay Pride of Brighton and Hove that will be the 1st of September. This epic pride has a wide variety of activities: from the spectacular parade to a huge space located in Preston Park with music shows and not to mention the St.James Street tends where the music will be heard in every corner. Famous singers and DJ’s as Alexandra Burke and FatBoy Slim will be headlining in the Preston Park tends.

Last but not least: Shakedown Festival. This music festival, which is considered as the last one of the summer, it will be celebrated the 6th of October in Stanmer Park in Brighton. What is better than finishing the summer listening to Professor Green, Katy B and Freemasons? If you are going to stay in Brighton in October you cannot miss it!!
