Countdown on Table Mountain
What a better way to start off your New Year’s celebrations than an awe inspiring trip up Table Mountain to see the last sunset of the year? Or you can stay there passed the countdown and watch as Cape Town celebrates below. On New Year’s Eve the last cable car goes up at 11pm, and the last one comes down at 1am, weather permitting

V&A Concert & Fireworks

Ministry of Sound New Years
World famous Ministry of Sound New Years event boasts 5 massive arenas showcasing 5 international DJ’s (including Chicane!) and a supporting line up of all South Africa’s favourite artists – 15 hours of musical mayhem – prepare to be blown away. There will be 19 bars, 24 VIP zones, huge sound and lighting production, video countdown and an outdoor arena.
