Five years ago the Czech Republic president, Václav Klaus, and his wife, Liviá, established an endowment fund for disadvantaged children, Nadační fond manželů Livie a Václava Klausových. EC has been privileged to help out this foundation by offering eight scholarships to children sent by the charity to learn English in Malta, Brighton and Cambridge.
EC recognises that the ability to speak English can radically improve people’s lives; offering opportunities for advancement and broadening people’s horizons. EC is proud to honoured be in the position to help out this fine cause when called upon.
