Bethnal Green (or ‘Befnal’ Green to the locals) is one of London’s most interesting areas, and home to some of EC London’s student residences. Bethnal Green is in the East End – travel Zone 2 on the Central Line, a mere 17 minutes from Holborn Station for EC London. It’s a diverse place, home to people from all over the world and with lots of interesting places nearby. Victoria Park (great for lazing in the sunshine), the Regent’s Canal (brilliant for running, biking and relaxing strolls), Brick Lane (amazing Sunday Market and Britain’s curry capital!), trendy Shoreditch (a home for hipsters and the painfully cool!) are all very close. With Liverpool St station a mere 10 minutes away, buses, tube and overground all very close, good old Bethnal Green has it all. Forget the West End, forget North London, and don’t go south of the river. GO EAST!
