I have been in Malta for four months. I do recommend it. It is a very good experience not only to learn English but also to meet people who come from everywhere in the world and who have different cultures as well. Malta is a ‘tiny’ island. At first, the idea of being in such a small country made me feel a bit nervous but after a while I noticed how amazing Malta actually is. The school organises loads of activities every week like Gozo tour and that gives us the opportunity to get to know Malta better. Also, I think that everyone would agree with me if I said that the Maltese nightlife is awesome. Most importantly the EC Malta has really good teachers and of course there are many advantages such as getting discounts in restaurants and many cultural activities. Having 3 teachers daily, for each lesson of the day is pretty good. That gives us the opportunity of being more sociable and we can also learn more through different ways of teaching. As almost every EC student, Paceville and especially Hugo’s is my favourite place to have fun. Obviously, after four months it gets a little bit boring but somehow, it’s still amusing to me. My favourite EC activity is definitely the boat party. When we arrived in Comino that day with that ambiance, it was just awesome. I booked a twin room in the Carlton residence. I had the biggest room in Carlton. I would like to study in Malta again and my experience with EC has been quite good, so yes, I think I will come back one day. The best way to see how amazing Malta is is just to come here! I don’t have any recommendations apart from study as much as you have fun!
