We are delighted to introduce you to EC Montreal’s new student ambassador; Iahaira Del Mar Sanchez Chaves. She has been studying at EC Montreal since January in our English Academic Year in Montreal, Pathway Programme. We are confident she will make a wonderful student ambassador and will really make our new students feel at home! Here is what she wanted to share with everyone:
My name is Iahaira. I am 17 years old and I am from Bogota, which is the capital of Colombia. Since I was a child, I have been interested in languages and in meeting people from different countries around the world; that’s why I made the decision to come to Montreal and I am completely sure it was the best decision ever!
I have been in Montreal for almost eight months and this city is amazing and appealing even when it is cold. In each season, EC Montreal and the city offers you great activities and places to enjoy with friends! At the same time, this school gives you the opportunity to learn and improve English and French in the same place! Thanks to EC, I have been improving my language skills and also meeting the best people ever since I came here.
Finally, I want to join the EC team and become an ambassador because I want to help the new students who are coming every week to feel happy and homey, whenever they want. The decision to do a language program is the best experience that someone can have!
