Gaby Fieger is a student from Germany who studied French in our Full-Immersion programme in 2011 and again in 2014. When we sent Gaby a Birthday message on her birthday in August, she immediately responded to inquire about our virtual French lessons. She signed up for both group and private French lessons. It was so great to reconnect with Gaby and welcome her back to the EC Montreal family! Sadly, Friday was her last day. She promises to resume her studies in the next couple of months. For now, this is what she would like to share with everyone about her EC virtual experience:
Due to the current situation, it was not possible to visit a foreign country to improve my French. So, I was thinking about an online course. I was happy as EC Montreal sent me an offer for that. In the past, I made two times very good experiences at EC in Montreal. So, it was no question for me to use that possibility to improve my French. I am really satisfied. The classes were very small, the interaction between the teacher and the students were very good even though we were not together in a classroom. The teacher adjusted the lessons very well to the current situation. I also took private lessons. The teacher always responded to my personal needs. As long as possible, I will continue with the online courses.
I loved…the small groups.
I enjoyed Sharzad’s humor and Sharzad and Djamel’s patience.
I learned…a lot, more than I’ve expected; vocabulary, grammar, culture.
I will continue to… to improve my French.
I will always remember…EC Montréal, on-site (2011 and 2014) and online (2020).
I promise to…improve my French and come back to EC Montréal, sometime, somehow!
