If you’re looking for something great to do this weekend, try studying English at the Bronx Zoo. Despite what you may have heard about the tiger attack, the zoo is a very safe place to spend a day.
It’s one of the largest zoos in the United States, with over 265 acres and hundreds of animals, many of which live in beautiful enclosures designed to imitate their natural wild habitats.
An absolute must-see are the gorillas, where you can get right up next to the animals, separated only by a window.
General admission tickets are $16.95 but that doesn’t include some of the special exhibits, which you’ll definitely want to see. So it might be worth paying the full $30 which gives you full access to everything at the park.
