My name is Franzi and I’m 18 years old. I live in Germany but at the moment I am staying in Brighton for 6 months. I am doing an internship at EC Brighton to improve my English skills. I want to be an English teacher once I have finished my studies, hopefully in five years’ time! But for now you can find me at the Reception desk, if you need any help please do not hesitate to ask me and I will do my best. I have been here for one month and in these four weeks I had so much fun, I found friends and my host family is wonderful and friendly.I have already visited Seven Sisters, Lewes and Devils Dyke.
I am having an amazing time there. The people at my work placement are very helpful and lovely. At the beginning I was shy and was scared to talk because I thought all the people would think that my English was very bad and they would laugh at me. But after one week I saw that nobody thinks that and everybody cares about me and they all try to help me. I never thought that I would gain such self-confidence and experience but all my expectations were exceeded. I can only recommend coming to EC in order to improve one’s English skills, at this school you have best value English language lessons. Actually, I had the choice between London and Brighton, but I decided for Brighton and don’t regret my decision because of the beautiful city and the lovely people at my work. All I can say is that the time I have been here has been great and I am looking forward to the next five months here in Brighton!
