May is one of the best months to take an English course at EC Brighton. The weather warms up considerably and the Brighton Fringe Festival is in full swing.
Brighton Fringe is an open access arts festival held annually in Brighton and it is the largest annual arts festival in England. Brighton Fringe 2014 will take place from 3rd May until 1st June.
One of our favourite events is The Great Escape!
The Great escape (8th-10th May) is a new music festival that showcases emerging artists from all over the world, and is aimed at both music fans and industry professionals. Over 400 up and coming bands play in 35 Brighton venues, accessible on a wristband. It is the first place to discover your new favourite band and see them in an intimate setting before they go on to headline major festival stages.
We also love the Artists Open Houses (3rd -25th May).
Don’t miss the opportunity to visit local artists opening their homes and studios to showcase a fantastic range of original artwork. Each weekend in May, the Artists Open Houses festival sees artists throwing open their doors to bring you everything from sculpture and painting to jewellery and textiles.
