In the hustle & bustle of our daily lives, we may tend to forget the finer things that should matter…like smelling the flowers, acknowledging the beauty of the sky or simply – wearing a smile!
On Thursday, 26 September 2012 AY student Haitham Babalghoom reminded us of just this. He gave a well-thought-out presentation whereby he reminded us to “Turn our frown upside down.” Haitham did a lot of research into this topic and asked students and staff what makes THEM smile. His answers were varied and most interesting from both staff and students.
Haitham’s course has ended at EC Cape Town and is currently in Saudi Arabia. However, he has promised to send me some of his thoughts that he shared with us. I’ll be posting these very soon, so watch this space!
