Free business-themed workshops at EC Washington!

We are very proud of the English lessons in Washington, DC we can offer our students here at Washington DC, and we make sure that every student who studies with us gets maximum value for their time and money. To do so, we put on free academic workshops, every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30-3:30, for our students to attend if they wish. many students attend in combination with their General English or Semi-Intensive or Intensive language programs with us.

It shows how popular and successful our workshops are that we have no shortage of students who stay in the school and spend their afternoons with us. To keep the material fresh and varied, we change the topics of the workshops each week. Last week, we were thrilled to welcome back our specialist business English teacher, Cecilia, to put on a workshop about Team Building in the workplace.

As always, Cecilia planned the class to perfection and was able to introduce typical team-building exercises straight from American corporate culture! Team building is a huge phenomenon in the world of American business, so learning about negotiation tactics and strategies was very helpful for the students. There was also a wealth of new vocabulary on offer that students had great fun putting into practice! Students were enthralled by Cecilia’s energy and passion for business topics like this one!

These workshops are just another reason why EC Washington is the DC area’s number one location for learning and improving English.
