hi, I'm Nam. I'm a new member. I think listening is quite good but reading is too complicated and not convenient. However some vocabulary lessons is very interested and useful. I need to practice speaking more but I can't. Why don't we have speaking ?

Hai,
Iam sabu from dubai.My Engish knowledge is not good .But I like to speak in english well. I am working with english pepole(I just joined in a new office just few days ago).I can understand what they are saying.I can do what they needs.But my replies to them are totally grammer mistakes.So I think you have to add some cartoons,simple and small sories for biginers like me.My opinion is try to make this site simple and useful.Because visitors of this site who are not well in english knowledge(like my english).Thats why they need easy way for learn english.I visited in some of other site.I didt satisfied.
I am really sorry for that if you are not understand in my english. If any grammer mistakes in this comments please let me know that mistakes.

Hello Dear,

My name is Manmohan Sharma from India. Once I thanks to all the members of this site bcz this is such a useful & easy to use site. I am a normal guy and I love to speak fluent english. But every time when I try to speak english before others, I totally confused.

Sir/ Mam the lesson posting by you is really very great. I want to say that pls make some standard about lesson. Means Beginners, Intermediate, Master. Dear sir, there are 113 lessons and I have done just 10 bcz I don't know properly that What should I do first. Sir, I am not a begineer, I know english language. I just want to speak english fluently. So the catagory of Intermediate is useful for me.

I am not saying that your catagory of grammer/ listing etc. is not useful, I am just saying that the standards of Beginner / Intermediate/ master will help every person who want to learn english & who want to speak/ improve english.

Please take some useful steps about my comments.

in the beginning

Hi, My name Rudney

I tried to learn English some years ago, but It´s very difficult to learn any language without someone else to talk to or share the difficults. There are many English Schools here in Brazil. But in my point of view they are poor in real understanding of sponken language, maybe I didn´t have enough time to have a chat. Most of my classes were about grammar, actually, in real situation, I want more than just it.

Did you mean you don't know how to use this site? You can choose what you want to learn from the bar of top of this site(grammar | vocabulary | listening | reading) and then you will see many topics show on the page , click "read more" to read it all and sometimes you will see the exercise.When you've done and checked it, you should click on "Mark as complete" (it show you which lesson have been completed in "My completed Lessons" menu on the right.)

My English is not very well but i hope my advice helps.bye Smile

Trim functions

Hello,

This is my first time here. I had finish the "adverbs of time" lesson and apparently you have a little "bug" in your software. Nothing too serious:

When I wrote my answers, I put a blank space after the answer and got a "wrong" message.

PHP have a "trim" function that remove all unnecessary blank space Smile

suggestions

A few suggestions from me :

1 - If you add numbers before each questions, it will be easier for us to calculate our score.

2 - We see our mistakes after we push "check answer".
It will be better if we can see also the correct answer of our mistakes.

3 - I think the main page is too crowded. I don't want to see my completed lessons on the main page. I can also see them with another button.

good and useful

Hello, I'm italian and I'm learning English. Last July I've been in Malta in holiday, so next year I'm going to retunr to go to school.
I'd like knowing what subjects are been already done, but there isn't an index. I do confusion with tenses verbs and modal verbs (must, should, might), I don't know when to use them.
I love very much this site and I enjoy spending some of my time doing the exercises.

Some suggestions

First of all I would like to say thanks to all of this beatiful site team!
It's really a good place to learn English, may be the best for the moment!

But...

1. I'd like to have not only quizes and tests, but some more explanations. For example, I and my friend both have chosen "What Italian..." instead of "Which Italian...", so it would be nice to explain why "What Italian..." is a bad form.

2. The same with phrasal verbs. May be it would be helpful to have some lesson before the test, because many of the verbs are difficult and I had to press "Check Answers" many times to know what is the right answer for "BEING FRIENDS" (get on) or "STOPPING" (hang on). VOMIT (throw up) is almost impossible to guess!

May be some text with almost the same words and expressions BEFORE the test would be helpful.

And again the nicest words to Chris and all the team. You are the best!

From my opinions:

First, I would like to thanks Chris for his effort and his time to make english easy for us.

actually I have some suggestions to make this site better:

1. When any body visit this site for first time I think he will confused because he doesn't know where he will start, we need one request to make this site the best site to learn english by Professionally, to accept our user we need lessons by level. For example. the basic english in level one, and like that to other level.
this is the best solution to avoid the confuse
