Our Manchester English school will be our 18th around the world and seventh in the UK.

Football

The first thing you think about when you hear Manchester is probably Manchester United, one of the biggest football teams in the world. More recently the city’s other team, Manchester City, have started to challenge United’s position as top English team.

Music

Manchester’s music scene has been influential on the UK and the rest of the world. Legendary bands like The Smiths, Joy Division, The Stone Roses and Oasis all came from Manchester.

In the music world, Manchester isn't only known for rock, it also has a strong history of house music, staking a good claim to be the first place in Britain to have played the emerging house sound back in the 80s.

History

History divides itself into two parts: the world before the industrial revolution and the world after the industrial revolution. Manchester was the first industrial city and can be considered the birthplace of the industrial revolution.
