'Sunny Malta!'

Hey Guys,

Another Friday and the end of another working week; I hope you had a good one and you're looking forward to the weekend. I was just wondering what your plans are? I'd love to hear how you'll be spending the weekend in your part of the world.

The weather's very good here in Malta so I'll be spending some time outside. For a start, I'll take my daughter, Ariana, to the park. She's only three and doesn't appreciate the importance of the weekend and waking up late – there will be no lie in for me! :(

Playing with the Ariana will be followed by the obligatory mountain of laundry that needs to be done along with the other household chores. When they're out of the way I'll go and see my grandmother; she lives on her own and always enjoys some company.

Who wants to cook on the weekend? Not me! Actually, I don't mind cooking so much, it's the washing up that I hate. So anyway, I'll probably eat out somewhere or get some take away food (I try to eat healthily during the week, that goes out of the window on the weekend).

On Sunday I'm going to a christening. My cousin adopted a baby girl from Ethiopia recently and they're having her christened this weekend. Before that, I'll be settling down in front of the TV to watch my favourite football team, Everton, play Manchester United in the FA Cup semi final. I'm sure it'll be a nail-biting occasion for me, but fingers-crossed they'll win.

So that's pretty much how I’ll be spending my weekend…how about you?

C'mon Everton!

Thanks once more

Thank you for the lesson, I like it.
As for me I 'm not going to lie in because I want to do a lot of things.
Laundry was on Thursday, but another chores are waiting for me. We won't eat out , we are having holidays on Sunday.Cooking is my duty on the weekend, but the washing up goes out of the window, my children will help me.Football was yesterday, my husband was nail-biting( rather interesting word) and I hoped he had fingers-crossed, because his favourite team won.(3-0)
And if the weather is fine, we'll spend some time outside, in the park, in the countryside...
Have a nice weekend! Thanks once more for such a beautiful lesson

weekend? Partyyyyyy

Hi Chris,
I don't know exactly what I'm going to do during the weekend. I think that we will go out and make a BBQ at the beach. Clubbing and partying will be the next point. On Sunday, if the weather will be nice and waves will be not too dangerous, we will go sailing with my friends. So nothing special. Another boring weekend. Clown
By the way, I've heard that you are visiting a gym. Is it true? How is it going?

Party boy

Miro, Miro, Miro, be careful on that boat!

Have a great weekend!

My weekends have not much

My weekends have not much differences from my usual days, cause I'm retired. But I couldn't say that I have too much time on my hands. I have my finger in every pie.
This weekend I have started with biking for couple of hours ,afterwords I was going for shopping (I bought some nice goods). Than I moved on my grandmother's joys - had dinner with my granddaughters (8 and 3years old),helped to an older one to sew some clothes for her Webkind and thought a younger one to ride a bicycle.
After they leaving I took five for reading and now I'm here , in my favorite site.Tomorrow, Saturday we are going to spend 5-6 hours for our traditional walking on countryside named Shvill Israel (The Way across Israel). Any one wants to join us? It is really perfect ten!
Nice weekend for all site users.

Enjoy!

Lucky you! My weekend'll be sad, even the weather here in Slovenia is nice, because I have an angina with high temperature. So I'm going to lie in my bed and watch TV. Enjoy also for me.

How am I going to spend my next week end?

Weather forecast aren't good in Naples; so I think i'm going to spend next week end on my favourite activities inside my house.
First of all I'm going to cook something special to my family. This means that on saturday early morning I will be searching some tasteful prey at fishmarket. Coooking fish based sauces is my speciality. I'll be able to write a book to collect my recipes.
Then I'm going to read some magazine and, why not, studying english as I usually do in my spare time.
Of course for the next week end I will be doing many other things but I don't want you get bored any longer. Wave cosmober

Hi Daffodils, The most

Hi Daffodils,

The most important tips for learning English are to be confident, don't be afraid of making mistakes and practise every day.

Good luck,

Chris

my weekend

It's autumn and it's time to pick mushrooms!!! I hope this weekend my family and I would be able to go to the forest and have our baskets full of various EDIBLE mushrooms. Big Grin I like this activity very much, and I know a lot about mushrooms: which is good and which you'd better avoid, how to cook ones. I believe, this weekend I'll find myself somewhere in the forest enjoying unity with the Nature and having a great "catch"!

Have a nice weekend to everybody,
best regards,
Anastasiya

My weekend

I often lie in at the weekend. It makes me feel relax. In the morning, I usually make house chores as washing clothes, cleaning and cooking... In fact, I eat out during the weak and the weekend is the time I can cook something for my brother (I live with my brother). I hate going to market to buy food, it very tired! The market is very crowd and make me a long time to cheque out.
This weekend, I and my brother decide that the chores are go out of window. We will go and see my parents, take part in a wedding party.
