RE: goof up & flip off

Goof is used in American English. It means to make a mistake.

Flip off is also used in American English. It refers to a very rude hand signal made by raising your middle finger and lowering the rest. Check out wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finger_%28gesture%29

Thanks,

Chris
