Possessive Nouns

Possessive nouns show who owns something or who something belongs to.
Possessive nouns are formed with ('s)

Sarah's car.
Peter's lap top.
The school’s headmaster.

When the noun is plural and ends with 's', just add (')
The babies' toys.
My parents' house.

If one thing belongs to two people add ('s) to the last name.
That is Peter and Sarah's new car.
Danny and Fred's company is very successful.

If two people have separate things, add the ('s) for each person.
Tania's and Mary's children.
Peter's and Simon's offices.
