Learn English, French or both and experience life in Montreal
The EC Young Achievers programme is perfect for teenagers ages 15 to 18 who want to add extra features to their English and/or French course. Features that will improve their individual interests and skills, building foundations for further growth within their chosen area of education in college or university.
Through learning a language together and sharing a common interest, you will make friendships to last a lifetime! This is an added benefit of the themes. The experiences you have will form a secure bond as together you develop skills and talents to take back home and maybe even use towards future study in college or university.
Ages: 15 to 18
Level: Beginner to Advanced
Course duration: 1 week minimum
Start dates: new course every Monday
• 24 English and/or French lessons per week (18 hours)
• 2 outings per week
• Tuesday / Thursday classes will be linked to the projects
Stay with one of our welcoming host-families in half-board or full-board options.
Staying with a Canadian family gives you the chance to practise your English with a real local family and experience the culture. Many students choose homestay accommodation because they enjoy the atmosphere and the feeling of support a family gives.
Homestays reflect Canada's multicultural diversity as long as English is the language of the home. As Montreal is a bilingual city, you may also choose to stay with a French-speaking or bilingual family.
We inspect all of the homes and train our host families. Our accommodation staff monitors every homestay experience, and is available full-time at the school if you need any help.
