My Future

Average: 1.6 (173 votes)

Here is another letter from me to you! This time, try and put the paragraphs in the correct order. I hope you enjoy it!

Me dancing when I was a teenager.

A. As well as my masters, I am also going to study Spanish at university. I have always loved the language and hope to travel to South America when I finish my degree. I think studying a language will help me with my English teaching as I will be able to experience what it’s like to study a language. I'd like to keep teaching during the year, if time allows!

B. Of course, the thing about the future is that it's always changing! Maybe in a few years time, you will find me in a shop in Covent Garden selling jelly beans and toffees! However my future turns out, the most important thing for me is that I'm happy.

C. What do you all want to do in the coming years? Let me know.
Love,
Caroline

D. When I was a young child I had the simple dream of being the 'lady who owned the sweet shop'! This was probably due to the fact that we only had sweets in my house once a week, so it was a real luxury! Then I wanted to be an actress, a journalist and finally a dancer.

E. Dear all,

F. Dance is still a huge part of my dreams, though I no longer want to be a professional dancer. I have studied dance intensively for ten years now and I can't imagine my life without it. With this in mind, at the end of last year I applied for a Masters programme in London called 'Cultural Policy and Management'. I start in September and I can't wait to see how this course will change my future!

G. After my year at university, I'm not sure what I will do! My dreams are to travel to South America, attend cultural diplomacy seminars in Berlin, become fluent in Spanish, get married, have a family and live happily ever after!

H. I've been thinking a lot lately about my future and my dreams. In the past few months, my life has changed dramatically and so have my future plans. I left South Africa to return to my home country of England. Being in the house where I grew up really makes me think about what I wanted to do when I was younger and how my dreams have changed as I have grown older.
