The Sound of Music was my favourite film as a child! This song is about two young teenagers that are starting to fall in love. The man (Rolf) is telling the woman (Liesl) that she needs protecting because she is young.

This song is full of adjectives that describe people's personality. Listen to the song and then try and put the correct adjective in each gap.

By now you all know I have an obsession with songs that tell stories.

I also have a small obsession with The Rolling Stones and this is one of my favourite songs.

One of the reasons I love it so much is because the choreographer Christopher Bruce created this dance to it and I learnt the dance for an exam.

Listen to the song and see if you can complete the gaps with the correct words. Then tell us what you think of the song and the dance.

This is a very romantic song about a man who will wait forever for the love of his life to return to him. Although I think if someone did that for me I’d be quite cross and tell them to go inside and have a shower...

What do you think? Is this man romantic or silly?

Listen to the song and complete the gaps with the correct vocabulary.
